so I have a pile of random crap on CL for sale, guy asked me to meet him WAAAAAAY across town for a $3 part. I didn't know how not to laugh out loud.

and that saga goes on. He agrees to meet me, so I chill out playing video games and watching top gear until midnightish when he says he can't make it. Turns up the next time in a riced out Sentra SE-R for a civic part, whatever. Now he need another part and he is driving ALLLLLLLL the way across town again today for it.

yeah, you may not need to sell that part for 5 dollars, but you could be doing someone a huge favor that is looking for that very part.

They meet me on my terms, I get a couple of dollars here and there. I've parted out ~4 project cars this way, if you've got the time you can make well over the value of the car $5 at a time.

Honestly that is a very cool setup, we have loads of ex-cop cars people use here for winter beaters. $3-5k retired copy car, air and bag system, tint, 2 spot lights and a bushguard, sounds like a relatively cheap and interesting daily driver.

This thing is awesome. I actually love slammed stuff, for some reason its the ridiculous camber adjustments on stancers that I just can't get over. But this - wheels nicely tucked away - I like.

I'm with you there, camber is OK if it suits a purpose, or if it's just so you can nicely tuck the tires into the arches... but 15 degrees just so you can be more JDM YO than the others.. nah.. Extreme bippu style? No thanks.

That is the worst thing about trying to sell something on CL. People making stupid offers over the phone (texting) or through email without even talking or looking at the car. After a few choice words and laughs I hook up them up, sign up their email address with whatever BS sites I can think of and leave thier phone numbers in random places. Yes I'm that weird.

Even better had a guy come look at one of my cars for sale. I was asking 5k, he offers 2,500, I laugh and say no thanks, you could have saved yourself a trip. I start putting it back in the garage and they guy is like, what i can't take it for a test drive? Sorry friend doesn't work that way. WTF is wrong with people.
